Tanushree Dutta Showing Juicy Legs

Tanushree is showing her juicy legs, what a sxy pose....

Estee Lauder to Sign Frieda Pinto

Fifteen minutes of fame can do wonders to somebody and example to this is
none other than Frieda Pinto. After having a 15 minutes of role in an Oscar
winning film Slumdog Millionaire, actress Frieda Pinto is in huge
demand, especially abroad. Now she is in talks with Estee Lauder to become their
brand ambassador of cosmetic products. If the deal gets finalized, she will be
the first Indian to endorse the product and join the great personalities like
Gwyneth Paltrow and Elizabeth Hurley.

Frieda’s Indian spokesperson said, “Estee Lauder hasn’t commented so far, so
we can’t say anything currently. Nothing is in black and white yet.”

The success of the film earned Freida many endorsement assignments, a Woody
Allen film; she also appeared on many magazine covers like Maxim, Entertainment
Weekly, Vogue, Vanity Fair and Cosmopolitan. She also walked the ramp for Dolce
and Gabbana at t! he Milan Fashion Week in Italy.

Seems like all the luck of the world is with this 24 years old Slumdog…. actress.

Divya Dutta's Lesbian Dreams

What's up with Divya Dutta?

The actress who's played decent character roles in the past suddenly decided to glam up in You, Me aur Hum. More recently in Delhi she played the interesting character of Jalebi.

Now she cozying up to a female actor on screen in the film Monica and is taking the challenge head on. The movie is about two struggling and vulnerable omen who find solace in each other.

Before Divya many actresses had turned it down simply because they did not want to do the lesbian scene. In the past only actresses like Nandita Das and Sha! bana Azmi in Fire and Amrita Arora and Isha Koppikar in Girlfriend have shown some guts.

By the way, it wasn't all that easy for Divya too as she was initially at a loss when she was told that she has a lesbian scene with co-star Kitu Gidwani.

But like a true blue professional she decided to do the scene. The actress told a website that she approached the scene very professionally and discussed it with Kitu before the shoot. She really prepared herself mentally too for the same.

She said, I mentally prepared myself. I was just an actor playing a character.
Apparently, the scene turned out very well, shot aesthetically and isn't vulgar or titillating.

Lets wait and watch to see if it gives Divya a career makeover or not.

Karan Johar Moves to Slums

After Slumdog Millionaire the West wants more of the Mumbai slums. Last week Karan Johar shot some key slum sequences in Borivali with the the Slumdog Millionaire kid Tanay Cheda who played the teenage protagonist Jamal in Danny Boyle’s film, and the incredibly underused Zarina Wahab who plays the Khan’s mother.

Karan chose the boy to play the childhood section of Shah Rukh’s life not only because of his facial likeness to Shah Rukh, but also because of the Tanay’s instant connectivity with the Mumbai slums and thereafter the Wes! tern audience.

Says the director, “Tanay is exceptionally talented. He was able to imbibe Shah Rukh’s character traits and use them to make SRK’s childhood look convincing.”

The director now intends to cast Tanay as junior SRK whenever required, much in the way that Master Mayur played the young Amitabh Bachchan in a series of films.

Karan’s exposition on the Muslim identity is expected to reach out to a global non-NRI audiences. Though the take-off point for My Name Is Khan is 9/11 not a single shot is taken in New York.

The film is set in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Two of the most expensove cities in the US for shooting. While Karan Johar’s production of Rensil de Silva’s Kareena-Saif film on terrorism will have Philadelphia masquerading as New York, Johar’s own directorial take on terrorism and the isolation of the working-class Muslim has gone to the two actual US cities were
the plot is location.

Karan shot in LA earlier this year. He leaves for San ! Francisc o in May for a 40-day schedule.

The first and last Hindi film to be shot in SF was Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal. Putting his shoulder surgery behind him Shah Rukh with best friend Karan Johar and favourite co-star Kajol to accompany him, would be gone to San Francisco for 40 days in May and June.

With Aamir Khan vacationing with his children out of the country, the two purported architects and mediator Karan Johar for the solution for the multiplex crisis are all out of the loop putting a large question mark before the deadlock that threatens to shut the film industry.

Upset & Hurted Amisha - Angry Hit Back

Media has not been very kind to Amisha Patel, whose dream run didn't last very long in the Bollywood. People have been writing vicious stories about her personal life as well the professional failures.

And now the hazel-eyed beauty has hit back with all the answers one her blog. Here's what she has to say about the recent controversies:

Where have I been? What have I been doing? That has been the refrain of late. From media, friends, associates. But I chose to do my own things; work hard, enjoy li! fe and generally keep away from the world. But of late I’ve been upset. More hurt than upset actually.

It is because I’ve been the victim of some misreporting. And what has taken me by surprise is that it is the reputed paper, Bombay Times â€" of the Times Group, one I have been close to and been part of in almost every new venture of theirs â€" that has been the offending party.

But it’s not all the media, or the whole paper, but a certain article that BT carried a few days ago which has deeply wounded me. It was by journalist of many years, Meena Iyer. She misconstrued some facts so totally that it was almost like I’m being written off for being from a long lost era.

Firstly, it was factually wrong. It slotted me in the 90s era, along with Aishwarya, Kajol, Shilpa, Preity and Rani. I was not even on the scene then. I actually made my debut in the 2000s, along with Kareena and others.

So the misrepresentation of facts was the first thing that bothered me. More so, because it wasn’t some faltu paper or sleazy TV channel type story done by a rookie.

It was just a ‘put down’ article to quite a few seniors in the industry. People who’ve earned their laurels and who require no certification from any one individual for their fame and popularity.

The article runs down artistes that I really respect; who I’ve grown up watching â€" like Shilpa Shetty, Rani and Preity. Even actors like Madhuri and Kajol â€" who’re powerhouse performers. And an Ash. Why?

Frankly, I think getting offensive or putting a tablet on these people saying that ‘they’re finished’, that it’s ‘pack-up time’ for them, is very unfair.

These are people who’ve given our industry memorable films and great performances and are still doing A-grade films with some of the biggest stars. To make comments like ‘Abhishek prefers a Sonam’, when he’s got three films with his own wife; or to say that ‘Shah Rukh prefers a Deepika’ when the current biggest and ONLY film he’s doing (and ALSO happens t! o be co-producing) is My Name Is Khan with Kajol is unfair.
How can you completely write them off? Secondly, it sounded like she wanted to claim that I belonged to a generation of actresses that one admired, but wasn’t really part of. I haven’t even been around for a decade yet.

My first release was in January 2000 â€" Kaho Naa … Pyaar Hai. Everyone knows that. Simply because there was this whole controversy that I’d ‘replaced’ Kareena. Simultaneously, Kareena had signed Refugee. Everyone knows the rest.

Even the ‘current’ breed of actors she wrote about is factually incorrect. Asin was mentioned. But little did the writer know that Asin had made her debut in the South in 2001. Even Katrina made her debut in 2002 with Boom.

It’s great that someone like her is doing so well and giving everyone a run. But they did debut around the same time I did. That is why it looks like an almost mischievous attempt to elevate one lot and put a lot of super-achievers down.

Some of the! m have far bigger projects, with the biggest of actors, than the newer stars mentioned.

ZOOM tried to stand up for the Group by suggesting that maybe the article was prompted merely by my ‘bad run’ at the Box Office. Everyone has a lean run, and maybe some of us mentioned here do. No movie is big or small.

It’s just a success or a disaster. And no star can be written off. It’s the law of filmdom.

Just like no journalist is greater than the Group he or she represents. And the humility of the representative is what reflects the personality of the Group.

I almost felt as if she was on some personal vendetta and was out to just slice people. I don’t think it had anything to do individually with me or anything like that.

I was so agitated that I followed the decent norm and spoke to the writer, Meena Iyer. And I was appalled to find that she was extremely rude. I requested Meena to ‘please do her homework’, and she got aggressive and shouted, “Don’t tell me how to do my homework!”

Later she made digs at my choice of movies like Run Bhola Run and Chatur Singh Two-Star. These are films with Sanjay Dutt and senior stars like Govinda. It was a hurtful thing to say.

People also said these things about Kaho Naa … Pyaar Hai when it came with Refugee.

And Gadar. But we all know the outcome. Meena was extremely unapologetic, rude and defensive. Even if she said, “I‘m sorry, I overlooked it in my enthusiasm to write my piece, or even a plain and simple â€" I’m sorr! y,” it would’ve been enough.

The damage had already been done and so many actors’ names were run-down in print. However, that attitude was more disturbing than the actual article. I’ve loved the Times Group and been part of all their start-ups.

I know almost all senior management and none of them are in any way immodest, proud or rude. I hope this was just a one-off bad day for the journalist in question. She’s been around way too many years to let this become a blot of rudeness on a career that represents the Group she’s worked for â€" more than ever.

I’ll get over my hurt. But it may take that much longer for her conscience to clear. God bless!

No More Bikini Shots For Me - Kareena Kapoor

Maybe you remember that the last year 2008 was the year of kareena kapoor and now we want to know what is hot about her in this year 2009.

As in start of this year kareena was on long vacation in Europe with Saif Ali Khan, she told "I will finally be moving into my new home in January. It's just a hop and skip away from where I stay on Hill Road in Bandra. I can't give up being close to my mom and living in Bandra."

The building name is Queen in which the house is situated, there is an apartment! for Kareena's mother, as the told about it "Of course my mother is moving with me. I can't live breathe or take one step without my mother. The only difference is she'll now have a separate apartment. But we're still on the same floor."

As for as about the home which Saif is preparing for both of them, Kareena said,
"That won't be ready for another two years. That's how long it's going to be before we get married anyway. Right now my diary is filled up till 2010. There's no space for even a runaway marriage."

In fact Kareena has decided to give more than a gift of a house to her mom & she has made her mom a New Year promise.

About bikini she told "No more bikini shots for me. I mean I'm very happy with the kind of attention and adulation I got for getting into a bikini in Tashan. And I wasn't uncomfortable wearing it. Why should I be? I've the physique to carry it off. But that's it.

My mother didn't like me in a bikini. Also the kind of work that I'm doing now in 3 Idiots or Renzil d'Silva's film doesn't require that kind of exposure."

With her super-star daughter being extremely busy with her career and Saif, mom Babita has a lot of time on hand.

"She now does a lot of charity work with charitable institutions like the Mount Mary Old Age Home in Bandra and other places. She's a very giving woman. I should know. She scarificed her own career and joys to bring up my sister and me."

Not too many people know Babita is half-Christian.

Reveals Kareena, "Her mother! was a Christian and father a Sindhi. So we are as fond of the church as we're of the temple. Christmas is a big event for us. That's why I needed to rush home at this time from Philadelphia to be home for Christmas before taking off for my holiday."

Surprisingly Kareena is full of praise for her supposed arch-rival Priyanka Chopra. "I don't know why so much is made of our rivalry. We're in totally difference spaces. She does her own films. I do mine. Whenever we meet she's really sweet to me. I don't understand why we're made out to be two squabbling sirens. Please, we're grownup women."

As far as conducting a career goes Kareena's role- model is Aishwarya Rai.

"I love the way she carries herself and the roles she's choosing after marriage. I'd like to follow that pattern when I get married."

But that's a long way off. At the moment Kareena is just happy being with Saif.

"He may appear to be very volatile and undecided, just like me. But actually he takes all the right decisions on my behalf. He's totally into his books while I love films. I keep him clued in to what's happening in the industry.

Right now we both want to see Ghajini before we leave for our holiday. We're both Aamir fans. Ater Ghajini I think the next film Saif will see will be my 3 Idiots. And this time it won't be for Aamir."

Kareena is also packing some scripts for her holiday. "I'm definitely going to read some scripts and select the right films to do after 3 Idiots and Rensil's film. I've to find films tha! t justify my presence."

Shahrukh With Aamir in Danny's Next?

Danny Boyle may be about to bring two of Bollywood’s biggest stars together in his upcoming movie, Bombay Velvet.

The Slumdog Millionaire director has signed on Aamir Khan and is now in talks with Shahrukh Khan to join the cast. The film will be directed by Anurag Kashyap and will be based on a series of real life incidents that happened in Bombay in the 1940s.

Boyle is in the advanced stage of discussion with SRK and if everything works out, the actor will be part of the film. The film has three leadsâ€" the second lead will be played by a newcomer and the third by Aamir Khan.

SRK is being finalized for the first lead. Boyle had tried working with Kin! g Khan even during Slumdog Millionaire, but the part eventually went to Anil Kapoor.

Mugdha Godse Is Not Doing Raas Leela?

She hit the jackpot with her debut film "Fashion", which released last Diwali, and her second release "All The Best" is also arriving in time for the festival of lights. Mugdha Godse says she is excited and hopes she will be lucky again.

"I am very excited because last Diwali was extremely lucky for me and with 'All The Best' releasing during the same time again, the anticipations are very high. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed and hope to get a positive response once again, considering that people are liking the promos and the buzz is good, " Mugdha told interview.

Technically, , Madhur Bhandarkar's "Jail" was supposed to be the model-turned-actress' second film.
"It's just that 'All The Best' is coming first but both my movies are scheduled within two weeks ('Jail' is releasing Nov 6), so there is a lot of excitement. I am wishing it will turn into gold, " she said.

The 24-year-old was in the capital to promote "All The Best". Directed by Rohit Shetty, the comedy also stars Bipasha Basu, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan and Ajay Devgn, who has also financed the project.

Mugdha says working with seniors has helped her immensely.

"It's good to work with senior people in your initial stages because you get to learn a lot from them and the experience is so good that it can help you a lot in future, " she said.

Having tried her hand at serious cinema in "Fashion" and "Jail" and comedy in "All The Best - Fun Begins", Mugdha says she is now set to explore the 'horror' genre in her next.

"I am doing a horror film opposite Bobby Deol and first-time director Rajiv Virani. We've shot ! almost 70 percent in Mauritius and now we will start shooting ! in Mumba i from Oct 19 onwards and wrap it up, " she said.

"It's a fantastic script and everything is scary in there (in the film)...I'm a fan of horror films myself; so when I heard the script I just felt I had to be a part of it. It's an interesting story that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats, " she added.

"We haven't found a name yet...it's just called 'Production No. 10' right now, " Mugdha said.

Asked if it was a deliberate attempt to pick different genres, the actress said: "I'm not thinking much about the genre as of now. I'm just going with the flow. If I get a good script, I do it.

"It's just that the kind of scripts I'm liking end up being from different genres...I'm not doing it deliberately. I believe...versatility is an actor's spice but generally very few actors do that.

"It's just trying something different with all roles so that they (the audiences) don't get bored with you...And I'm glad I'm enter! taining people and they are liking my work, " she said.

There were reports that Mugdha had signed on a film called "Raas Leela", but the actress dismisses it as baseless rumours.

"I'm not doing 'Raas Leela'...I don't know where these rumours come from that I'm doing a film that doesn't even exist, " she said.
